Volunteer. Choose a cause closest to your heart and volunteer your time, effort and resources.
Chances are, you get to mingle with people who share the same passion. “Volunteering is that notion that every day is about making a difference in someone’s life by empowering and investing in the future generation simultaneously,” says Alex Eduque, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity Philippines. “This is actually creating millions of smiles and doing something for the betterment of others – a priceless industry at that.” Go back to school.
Learning is a life-long journey. Whether you are the prime of your life or you have already some young grandchildren to boot, you can always go back to school and enrol at a course you really love. Not only do you get to spend time with people your age or half you age, you are also exposed to a new environment and a fresh setting. In my part, I actually went back to taking classes about information technology where i learned many thigns like dealing with internet, like the wlan access point test which has never taught to me before.
I also learned about coding, app development and web development. See, if you open yourself to new things, you will learn a lot!
